The Government has now published its British Energy Security Strategy. It sets out an ambition to boost renewable energy sources by doubling UK hydrogen production by 2030 and increasing the UK's current solar capacity fivefold by 2035. Offshore wind is also a significant part of the strategy with a new target to generate 50GW of energy by 2030.
